Their journey began when they were falsely accused of espionage, arrested and sent to prison after meeting in Malawi nearly forty years ago. This event, along with numerous experiences, can be read in Björn's book - "On a Mission to Africa".
Despite this and many other setbacks, the pair persevered and for 20 years have been involved in #aid work for #Malawi, one of the poorest countries in the world. They have raised funds to provide electricity to a school in the Northern Region of the country and have also funded hundreds of Malawian student's studies.
In recent years, Björn and Zebbie have continued their efforts as they joined Nanze, providing an unparalleled look into the issues that impact Malawi. Their effort to raise awareness about Malawi and the work #Nanze has embarked on, has led them to share their story with the world. For the first time ever, their book has been translated to English and is available in the US.
